Whether or not Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter V album will actually release on December 9 remains unclear. The famed rapper from New Orleans’ Hollygrove neighborhood discusses his love for music in and can be seen smiling through a cloud of smoke on the January issue of NYLON Guys.
Tunechi’s conversation with the mag touches on a few topics, including the seizures he suffered back in 2013, rapping, and more. “That’s all I do and all I know, 366 days a year, 25 hours a day, eight days a week,” Wayne said regarding his love for creating music. “This is my life and what I breathe … This isn’t something I do. It’s who I am.”
