Just because Brooklyn is increasingly gentrified doesn’t mean sh*t can get a real. A 16-year-old was stabbed, and a cop was maced, during a brawl involving high school students outside the Barclays Center yesterday (Sept. 22).
Reports the New York Post:
A 16-year-old Brooklyn student was stabbed in the stomach outside the Barclays Center on Monday afternoon, police sources said.
The unidentified teen was knifed outside 139 Flatbush Ave. after a fight erupted among a group of schoolkids around 3:30 p.m., according to sources.
An officer who arrived at the scene was maced during the brawl and transported to Brooklyn Hospital.
Cops arrested three people and charged one person in connection with the stabbing, sources said.
One of the teens reportedly was arrested while possession of a box cutter.
Yes, footage of the brawl has made it online and the kid was getting pummeled by fists and feet. Luckily, his injuries are not life-threatening.
