James Harden didn’t go sulking in his room after getting booted out of the NBA Playoffs earlier this week. Instead, he partied at the club.
If you’re a Houston Rockets fan, the last thing you want to see right now is the best player on the team spending his night in the club after getting embarrassed in a must-win playoff game. But, that’s your reality right now.
MVP candidate James Harden gave one of the worst performances of his career Thursday night when he scored just 10 points in a 114-75 blowout loss to the San Antonio Spurts. Rockets fans obviously had higher hopes for the home game that was also commemorated by a limited edition Travis Scott t-shirt.
While MVP candidates and “great” players would be expected to lay low after such a game, Harden decided to lick his wounds in the club. People there either didn’t watch the game or assumed that the Rockets won because they started chanting “MVP” when they noticed Harden was there.
