Getting Jordan Brand to make a custom sneaker in honor of your new album is a major key. DJ Khaled is doing just that with the release of the “Grateful 3” Jordans.
Back in April, the Miami mogul announced that he was in talks with Brand Jordan but only alluded that he was up to something. After attending the meeting that never seemed to end the fruits of his labor have finally come to reality.
The “Grateful 3” is a We The Best themed Air Jordan 3; one of the most sought after retros. In true Khaled style the “Grateful 3” will be released on June 23, the same date his 10th studio album Grateful hits the streets.
The sneaker features a red leather upper with the signature black and grey cement on the heel and toe. Red also lives nicely on the laces and midsole. A big point of difference for this shoe is the heel which features the We The Best logo in black with the classic Jumpman logo layered over it in white.
Pricing has yet been confirmed for the “Grateful 3” but it is safe to assume these will sell out quick. Fans who pre-order Khaled’s Grateful album will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win the kicks so there is still hope left.
