The life of luxury is often an aspirational subject many artists voice in their songs. According to a recent report by Bloomberg Rolls-Royce is the most name dropped brand in popular music today.

The news agency polled the top 20 spots of the Billboard 100 singles list over the last three years and found the opulent automobile manufacturer to be the hottest across multiple genres specifically Rap. Mentions included hits by Future, Kodak Black and The Weeknd.

Cars dominated most of the list with Ferrari coming in a close second being just two points shy of the top spot. Hip-Hop cultural staples like Hennessy Cognac, Nike Air Jordan and Rolex Watches also made the cut.

While product mentions are a commonplace in Rap, Bloomberg crowned Migos‘“Bad and Boujee” with 19 total brand mentions that included Instagram, Segway Scooters, Porsche and the infamous Crock-Pot slow cookers.

When asked about the all the musical admiration they receive a Roll-Royce rep kept it classy saying “We make no judgments. We want to be connected to success.” This is the total opposite of what a Cristal Champagne executive Frédéric Rouzaud did in a 2006 Economist interview which led to a Jay Z led boycott of the high priced bubbly.
