A new season, on the horizon, means a new model of LeBron James’ signature sneaker. Today (Sept. 8), Nike has officially unveiled the LeBron 15.

Details are still scarce but the Jason Petrie-designed shoe features a Flyknit upper and advanced cushioning needed for 6′ 8″ freak athlete.

“This is my favorite shoe to date,” says James via a press statement. “The performance benefits and sophisticated look make this shoe a force on and off the court.”

Some of the technical details include what’s being touted as “next-generation” Flyknit construction in the upper with “strategic stretch” for a secure fit, and “fully articulated cushioning system” that utilizes both  Max Air and Zoom Air units.

Adds James, “The number-one thing people should know about the LEBRON 15 is that this new Nike Flyknit is something that’s never been done in a performance shoe. It looks great, too. Since Jason and I started working on the LEBRON VII, we have always talked about how we not only want to have the top, top, top notch in performance, we want style, as well. We have a desire to create shoes that makes all people feel good when they put it on.”

Sounds like there are going to be a gazillion colorways.

No release details are available, yet. Peep the official photos and some other peeks below and on the flip.

King James already dropped dime on the “Ghost” colorway below.
