Ever since snatching his controversial Grammy wins back in 2014, Seattle rapper Macklemore‘s continued to carve out his own niche in the rap game and has even gotten his own Jordan retro PE’s (we kinda hatin’ on that).

Now that his latest album Gemini has hit the digital shelves just last week,  th”Thrift Store” rapper sat down with Chelsea Handler rapper to explain certain things like while there are a lot of white rappers “there’s not a lot of great ones” and the difference between Hip-Hop and Rap. “Rap is something that you do. Hip-Hop is something that you live.” Lots of people still don’t get that.

“Rap is something that you do. Hip-Hop is something that you live.”

Word to KRS-1, and lots of people still don’t get that.
