Nasty Nas stopped by BET’s 106 & Park yesterday for a brief interview.
During his appearance, the NYC rapper took some time to reflect on his relationship with Amy Winehouse, saying of the deceased singer, “She was a genuine person.
“She was like real. She was struggling with a lot of things in her life, but she was a real artist. She was like a little sister to me.”
Nas also talked about working on Dr. Dre’s Detox (that we’ll will probably never hear), and work he’s done with other artists like Alicia Keys and DJ Khaled.
