Troy Davis To Die Wednesday
Convicted cop killer Troy Davis will die as scheduled after a Georgia pardons board refused to grant him clemency.
As previously reported Davis has garnered support from high profile celebrities including The Pope, Reverend Al Sharpton, Killer Mike and the NAACP.
Monday, the board voted not to stop his lethal injection execution set for Wednesday despite 7 out of 9 witnesses recanting their story leaving reasonable doubt that he was guilty.
Davis was convicted for murdering police officer Mark MacPhail in 1989.
Prosecutors and MacPhail’s family urged the board let the execution occur this week.
