Ludacris To Release New Album Ludaversal In May

Ludacris recently spoke with Billboard and announced that he’ll be releasing his eigth studio album, Ludaversal, in May of this year. Luda also went on to confirm one of the collabos that will appear on his new album, as well as what to expect.

“Usher is one person that I’ve already worked with and in terms of other artists, you can say that there’s going to be a lot of surprises on here,” said Ludacris.

“It’s been a minute since I’ve been away from music, and there is just so much to talk about. So [the album] is mostly about my personal life, my travels, my experiences, rumors, gossip — you know, everything coming together in one.”

Ludacris has been full of surprises as of late, starting with the release of his latest mixtape, 1.21 Gigawatts. On “Say It To My Face” Luda sends shots at Big Sean, Drake, and Field Mob. Also, Mr. Bridges recently announced that he will be opening a new restaurant in Atlanta called “Chicken & Beer.” The news of the venture was a great to hear by most people, except maybe Shawn Carter. It was rumored that Ludacris had actually beat out Jay-Z for the venue’s space, which reportedly didn’t sit too kindly with Hova.

2012 is shaping up as a big year for Luda. Look for his new single to drop in March, with Ludaversal to follow in May.
