Odd Future crooner, Frank Ocean, has had a hell of a week. After opening up about his sexuality via Tumblr last week, he performed the song in question (“Bad Religion”) on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon two nights ago and then announced he was pushing the release of his album, channel ORANGE, up a week earlier. It looks like that gamble of pushing the album up is going to pay off big time next week.

Ocean is projected to sell  a very impressive 110,000-125,000 units in his first week after selling his album exclusively on iTunes before physical copies would be made available. Next week he would be going up against his Def Jam labelmate, Nas, as he prepares to release a similarly hyped album Life Is Good.
