Mellowhype isn’t the only member of Odd Future dropping some new tunes today. The group’s leader, Tyler, The Creator, just released this unfinished collaboration with Toro Y Moi on his official Tumblr page called “Hey You.”
Once in a while, Tyler gets on a record that doesn’t sound so morose and it almost always sounds great. This is another prime example of that. If you aren’t familiar with Toro Y Moi, he’s a producer and artist who makes what is known as “chillwave” music. Pretty much the type of music you go to music festivals in the summer and wave out to. This got potential, and if this is your introduction to chillwave, this isn’t a bad place to start. Hit the jump to listen up.
