As the sleeves get longer and the leaves start falling, it’s apparent that the Summer has come to an end. In Hip-Hop, next to the 4th quarter and the end of the year, the Summer is arguably the most important time period in music as far as rappers are concerned. From Jay-Z to Rick Ross to Kanye West, they have all always claimed to be able to “heat up the Summer” when it’s time to drop a project.

Rick Ross, Nas, Meek Mill, and more all received praise from our commentators, but what do you think? What was the best song of the summer in 2012? Check it out down below.
