Jean Grae drops a dark, noir like full length video for her latest single, “Kill Screen.” The clip actually plays more like a short film, with a narrative that starts with the rapper laid out on the pavement, staring at death’s door and working its way backwards, sort of, from there. Just like the song itself, the visual will require multiple rewinds to get all the references and to figure out what is going on. 

Prepare for blood, rapid screen cuts and hidden messages that make this vid anything but a throwaway. “Kill Screen” will be a bonus cut on Grae’s forthcoming Gotham Down project. Watch the tune’s video, which was directed, shot and edited be herself, thank you very much, below.
