Kid Cudi just added another item to his career agenda. The rapper has signed on to appear in the indie romantic flick, Two Night Stand.

Cudi will play the role of boyfriend to Gossip Girl star Jessica Szorh in the film, marking the directorial debut of Max Nichols.

The film is based on “two people who meet online and get together for a one-night stand. The couple gets snowed in the next morning and are forced to spend more time together.” Cudi’s character is said to be “endlessly amused,” by the relationship trials and tribulations of one of the film’s stars, Analeigh Tipton.

Making his small screen debut by way of the HBO series How to Make It In America, Cudi has long been splitting time between music and acting, and from the looks of it, will continue to do so. Having recently wrapped the flick Goodbye World with Entourage star, Adrienne Grenier, the 28-year-old is also busy prepping the release of his third album, Indicud.  “It will be my version of The Chronic 2001, some songs i’ll produce, others i’ll feat &/or play songwriter,” he said of the release.

Produced by Beau Flynn and his Flynn Picture Co. alongside Ruben Fleischer, and co-starring Miles Teller, filming on Two Night Stand is set to take place in New York.
