Whenever sh-t gets awkward, people will always use the “freedom of speech” defense to excuse their actions. Tracy Morgan knew not to use this defense, when he unleashed an anti-gay rant during a stand up show. Be clear, everyone is entitled to their own opinion but Morgan’s tirade was so personal (he said he’d kill his son for being gay), that it came off weird and uncomfortable. After doing a little damage control the New York native bounced back, but maybe next time he should save such thoughts for his diary… instead of the stage.
