As the presidential election comes to a close, some voters are doing whatever it takes to make sure that things turn out in their favor.

Authorities arrested Roxanne Rubin, a registered Republican from Henderson, Nev., Friday (Nov. 2) for allegedly trying to vote twice.

Rubin, an employee at the Riviera hotel-casino in Las Vegas, was taken into custody by the FBI just after arriving to work. A complaint was filed against Rubin for voting in Henderson, then reportedly attempting to vote again in nearby Sin City.

Election workers ran her information through the system uncovering that her vote had already been cast, and stopped her from exercising the right once more.

After a complaint was filed with Nevada’s Election Integrity Task Force, an investigation was opened, leading to Rubin’s subsequent arrest. “As we’ve said and demonstrated in the past, we take all election complaints very seriously and investigate them thoroughly,” said Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller. “Second, this demonstrates the integrity of the system. Someone thought that by going to two different locations, they’d be able to cast two ballots. The system immediately caught that, the task force responded and an arrest was made.”

According to Miller, the task force is also investigating another claim of alleged double voting.
