Angel Haze is small in stature but her skill-set is giant. Haze followed in the footsteps of Slaughterhouse, A$AP Rocky, Mac Miler and more by stepping into 106’s & Park’s The Backroom freestyle session.

BET’s daily countdown has been going through some alterations as of late, but the infusion of this section is probably one of the best ideas that the show has had in some time.

Haze hasn’t bricked any shots this year (i.e. “Gossip Folks,” and “Werkin’ Girls”), so it’s pretty much expected that she do well on this Backroom segment. We already know that her lyrical prowess is multi-faceted, but it’s good to have yet another sturdy submission to rep for female rappers in the game.

The Michigan native comes off top over the DJ Wolf-D-produced record “Answer the Phone,” rhyming about murdering “every track,” annihilating the competition, and her all around greatness.“Nah I don’t stop  I’ma go until I can’t no mo’/ And I can’t still yo  spot if you chickens interchangeable.”

She’s definitely not lacking in the confidence department, that’s for sure.

Peep the freestyle from “Misses Rip you a new an-l hole” below, and if you like what you hear, be sure to download her Classic mixtape.
