When the Weinstein Company and Loma Vista Recordings unveiled the Django Unchained soundtrack tracklist just weeks ago, brows raised at the idea of a posthumous collaboration between late, great artists James Brown and Tupac Shakur. Finally, the Internets have a chance to hear the track, titled “Unchained (The Payback/Untouchable).”

With the help of Tupac’s engineer Claudio Cueni, the track mashes together James Brown’s “The Big Payback” and Pac’s “Untouchable” to make an entirely new experience. “Unchained” is the kind of posthumous track the fans like to hear; one that perfectly bridges the gap between old school and new school, without compromising the lineage of either artist.

The Django Unchained soundtrack lead single is Rick Ross’ “100 Black Coffins” and the album hits shelves December 18, while the film will be in theaters on Christmas day. Hear “Unchained (The Payback/Untouchable)” below.
