Nicki Minaj is using her upcoming Pink Friday album for a positive cause by helping to raise breast cancer awareness.

The Young Money femcee has signed on with CompUSA and TigerDirect to “turn Black Friday pink” by making the annual shopping extravaganza into a charitable free-for-all to profit breast cancer research.

Minaj and the consumer electronics and technology retailers expect to raise more than $100,000 in donations to Susan G. Komen for the Cure(R), the world’s largest breast cancer organization.

Nicki will help in the charitable efforts by joining in on the retailer’s annual 12-hour webcast from noon to midnight where limited quantities of electronics and other products will be sold at 50 percent off list price.

The full proceeds from the sales will go directly to Susan G. Komen.

During the webcast Nicki will be interviewed via Skype, her “Your Love” video will be played and breast cancer survivors will be interviewed while products are sold to benefit the charitable organization.

Speaking on her affiliation with the company’s Pink Friday promotion, Nicki released a statement saying,

“I fully support the efforts of Pink Friday and the goal of raising funds to support Susan G. Komen for the Cure and their charge to bring an end to breast cancer. I am pleased to be associated with the Pink Friday initiatives and to raise awareness amongst fellow African American women who are often the hardest hit by breast cancer.”
