Tinie Tempah Purchases Exclusive McFly’s
Nike recently announced the release of 1,500 limited edition pairs of the Nike MAG, the next level shoes worn by lead character Marty McFly in Back To The Future II.
The first pair were purchased last night at a Los Angeles charity auction for $37,500 by British rapper Tinie Tempah.
The shoe, which comes with a battery pack and lit up Nike logo was unveiled yesterday in L.A.
All net proceeds from the purchases of the rare shoe will go to the Michael J. Fox Foundation to help fund the fight against Parkinson’s disease.
Fox, who portrayed McFly in the Back To The Future movies suffers from the crippling disease.
