Royce Da 5’9 Explains Rihanna Statement
Royce Da 5’9 is speaking out to address a line he dropped during this year’s BET Hip-Hop cyphers about Rihanna.
As previously reported, the Detroit emcee was part of the Shady Records cypher alongside Yelawolf, his Slaughterhouse family and Eminem.
During Royce’s freestyle the rapper gave the line, “Hi Rihanna”, that quickly became a trending topic on Twitter.
Following that Rihanna obviously caught word of the greeting and wrote,
On Wednesday Royce was a guest on ‘106 & Par’k and spoke on the line explaining that he previously saw the songstress at the V Festival.
“I seen her overseas, me and Em were performing at the V Festival and she seen me and she came up to me and told me that she liked one of my songs. So I just felt like if you tell me that again then we go together. It has to happen.”
