French Montana has a lot more work to do. Even with a record deal, an anticipated debut, and co-signs from just about everybody in the game, Montana has no intentions of basking in the fruits of his labor—yet.

The 28-year-old told Hip-Hop Wired that the hard work he’s put in long before he became popular drives him to want to be better. “I’m staying humble,” he says. “I’m just working on my craft as every day goes by.”

Aside from his album, the Harlem rapper also gave his opinion on the Chris Brown vs. Drake ongoing battle. Having just gotten off tour with the Young Money star, Montana’s loyalty in the matter is (obviously) towards Drizzy, but he also encouraged both men to keep the peace.
