Rick Ross loves to eat, and he’s not shy about it.  As we can tell by his robust appearance Maybach Music’s head honcho likely never misses a meal, so it only makes sense that he speak with Bon Appétit about the joys of food.

From “waking up to a bowl of lobster bisque,” to owning a Wingstop restaurant, to his cooking skills, Ross covered it all.

When faced with the decision of what to cook when his chef is unviable, Ross usually resorts to grilling up his favorite fish (and it’s not sea bass). “I take the aluminum foil and I put a nice piece of tilapia on it, season it good,” he explained. “Then put a bundle of broccoli and two or three slices of cheese over it. I fold it up and sit it on the grill. Voilà!”

Although his interview with the food publication was mostly lighthearted, Ross had a serious moment when explaining why he raps about food. “I remember when I couldn’t afford to eat like this,” he said. “It was Ramen noodles and the San Francisco Treat [Rice-A-Roni]. Dessert? Get you a honey bun and put a slice of cheese on it. Put it in the microwave for 45 seconds and you had the gift of a lifetime.”
