Chicago hosted its annual Lollapalooza Music Festival held at Grant Park this weekend, and the event was riddled with bad weather and violence. The show was shut down temporarily Saturday (Aug. 4) after a storm forced organizers to pull the plug. Late in the evening, two people got into an altercation that turned physical.

The two men, were part of a group when they got into a heated argument. The incident occurred at around 11:19 p.m. on the 300 block of South Columbus Drive. One man pulled out a knife and ended up slashing the other on the cheek, and cut himself on the hand.

Both men were taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and are listed in stable condition. No charges will be filed, since the victim did not want to seek legal action.

Authorities are unsure whether or not the fight had anything to do with the concert.

Chicago has been in the news lately for excessive murders due to gun violence in the city. More than 300 people have been killed by gun violence, eight months into the year. The city is expected to surpass figures from last year.

Frank Ocean, and Wale were among those added to the 2012 Lollapalooza line-up.
