Rihanna is one of the world’s biggest Pop and social media stars, so it only made sense that she open the MTV Video Music Award’s. Starting off sitting on a makeshift throne, the Bajan singer set things off with a performance of her new “Cockiness (Remix)” single, featuring A$AP Rocky. Rihanna looked stunning, sporting a red outfit and her new pixie haircut that had the Internet going nuts.
Twirling around stage with a gang of dancers, the Harlem rapper eventually hit the stage to perform his verse. The talk of the night wasn’t the music but A$AP giving Rihanna a hug, squeezing her booty and stealing a kiss. Swerve.
After the PMF got a feel of her goods, Rih Rih jumped in the crowd to perform her smash hit “We Found Love.” Check out the full performance below.
