Don’t expect to see Derrick Rose on an NBA basketball court anytime too soon, but his signature shoes should be getting spotted about town. The adidas D Rose 3 is a technically advanced sneaker but we all know looksare just as important. The colorways seen here, a black & red “Alternate Away” and a electricity aka bright yellow “Chicago Fire,” definitely make the point guard’s kicks pop.
Both D Rose 3s seen here features Sprint Web technology. The Alternate Away includes the usual oversized tongue with a reflective D Rose logo in the front and an illustration of his “family tree” on the inside.
The Chicago Fire colorway is inspired by Rose’s hometown Chicago Fire Department. The sneaker’s upper consists of rubberized synthetic materials made to resemble a firefighter’s coat. The inside of the left tongue includes the universal cross symbol of firefighters with the D Rose logo while the right features a laser etched Derrick Rose signature.
The Chicago Fires dropped October 10th for $180 (maybe you can still find a pair) and the Alternate Away limited editions are out November 1st and will cost you $160.
