Saigon lets loose the video for “Blown Away,” one of the more powerful cuts off his forthcoming album, The Greatest Story Told 2: Bread And CircusesThe them here is that many individuals that took a stand in history, ended up paying the ultimate price.

In the clip, Saigon is in front of a classroom of indifferent students, dropping righteous rhymes about artists and civic leaders who were taken out before their time, including Martin Luther King Jr., Marvin Gaye, Clarence 13X, John F. Kennedy, Tupac Shakur and Bob Marley. By the time the song is over, only a young Saigon is left taking in the lessons, hoping he won’t have to take an L for taking a stand.

The Yardfather’s sophomore album, The Greatest Story Told 2: Bread and Circuses, is out tomorrow, November 2nd. That’s Election Day, so vote, and pick up Sai’s new album if you’re a fan, too.
