With all the guests on the bill, and surprise appearances at Power 106’s annual Cali Christmas concert, Katt Williams was easily the most entertaining. The 39-year-old comedian has made headlines for his erratic behavior as of late, and in an exclusive interview with Hip-Hop Wired, he made sure to state where he stands with all the news clips, the rumors, and the criminal charges.

“I been arrested 36 times in five years, but I never been in court, you figure it out,” he told us. “I don’t care what they say. What they say, they love me so how could I give a f**k what they say otherwise?”

The father of seven came to the show alongside Suge Knight, and said that his children were all in the audience at the venue.

Williams also denied the criminal charges and lawsuits brought on by his stop in Seattle two weeks ago. “Listen to you, I don’t even live in Seattle. They don’t even have a basketball team!”

Clearly looking like it was his night off, the Ohio native went on to inform us that regardless of the bad press surrounding his tour, his success is unmatched. “I don’t want everyone to know anything, I do no promotion whatsoever. I sold more comedy DVDs than any comedian breathing or dead, Black or White. I have five more comedy specials than Richard Pryor, six more than Bill Cosby, five more than Eddie Murphy, and six more than Martin Lawrence.”

Williams’ tour is set to hit Indianapolis on Sunday, Dec. 16.
