With Wrath of Caine steadily approaching, Miss Info caught up with Pusha T at the Capsule menswear trade show in New York City to get an exclusive preview of two tracks from the forthcoming mixtape. During their sit down, the G.O.O.D. Music MC also explains on how these songs, featuring French Montana and Wale, respectively, came to be.

“One song that stands out to me, that’s like super serious, is called ‘It Doesn’t Matter’ and it’s featuring French Montana on the hook,” said Pusha. “It’s basically about the opinions of people who are like broke and never lived the lifestyle, but they have so much to say. And it’s just saying your opinion doesn’t matter, your two cents because that’s what you have and probably what you’re worth. So you can’t really speak on the lifestyle that comes with it or me because you’ve never been there.”

It’s worth noting that Pusha T openly admits to being a fan of French Montana’s self-coined “wave” (Note: cut Max B a check) on choruses, which made him the perfect candidate for this feature.

“Only You Can Tell It” is another song King Push thinks listers will gravitate towards. “It’s really good because we’re both from the DMV area,” says the “Millions” rapper about the track’s Wale feature. “He’s known for his poetry and him just getting real deep, so me and him just collaborated on a record.”

The previews are only snippets, so fans with have to patiently wait until Monday for Wrath of Caine in full. See the full interview below.
