Through mixtape releases, guest features, and countless interviews, Pusha T has retained one mantra: My Name Is My Name. The G.O.O.D. Music wordsmith has slowly prepped his Def Jam solo debut, and it looks the project is completed and ready to go.

Pusha announced a formal release date for the LP on 106th & Park last night, saying “My new album, My Name Is My Name, we got a release date for it, July 16.”

He also ensured that a visual for “Numbers On the Boards” will drop in the next week. The vid was shot in Paris, in what we would imagine to be typical G.O.O.D. Music fashion.

In a past interview with FUSE, Pusha Ton set lofty expectations with his description of the album. “[Life After DeathHarlem World and The Purple Tape] are the perfect moods in description of diversity of what I want to hear in rap; the raw RZA edge, the lyricism of Biggie, the arrogance of a Ma$e in Harlem World. I even want to give you a little bit of R&B.”

My Name Is My Name will feature appearances from MCs like Kendrick Lamar, Rick Ross, Future, Kanye West, and more, as well as production from noteworthy beatsmiths like Pharrell, Kanye West, The-Dream, and Swizz Beatz.
