To help prove he wasn’t playing any games, Snoop Lion, and VICE Films, created the Reincarnated documentary, which follows his spiritual journey to Rastafarianism in Jamaica. With the Long Beach rapper turn Reggae artist’s album of the same name in stores, you can now watch the accompanying doc online.
Reincarnated screened at a limited amount of theaters and received generally positive reviews. Snoop spent a month in Jamaica creating the Reincarnated album, which was entirely produced by Diplo’s Major Lazer crew. But besides chronicling the film’s creation, we also get insight into Snoop’s rise to stardom and he addressed the many missteps, beefs and wins that led him there.
Of course, plenty of kush gets smoked along the way.
