June promises a lot of quality music. Outside of the obvious projects, fans will receive a collaborative album from Prodigy and The Alchemist called Albert Einstein on June 11. With days to go before it releases, the duo deliver a cinematic visual for a track called “YNT” that’s set appear on their independent LP.
The Mobb Deep legend is joined by Domo Genesis, who returns the favor for P’s appearance on his 2012 mixtape No Idols (also fully produced by The Alchemist) with a potent verse.
Soothing strings from Alan the Chemist give the track an ambient mood and ultimately set the scene for a classic jux scenario in the video. Prodigy is the mastermind behind the intricate plot, of course, but his clique of female shooters prove to be more lethal.
Unfortunately, the Odd Future representative is the prize, and he doesn’t even know it.
