Another week, another list of tunes. On this fine Friday afternoon we present you with another edition of The Wrap Up: Hip-Hop Wired’s Top 10 Songs Of The Week.
This has been a particularly G.O.O.D. week for music. We received a few quality releases from Chicago’s SAVEMONEY clique — you’ll hear of them soon enough. Then a certain Canadian MC shut the Internets down and let us know that nothing (or should we say no one) is currently the same. Today, the Hip-Hop gods even blessed us with a tune from a late great.
Come to think of it, this was certainly one of the best weeks as far as this list goes. Don’t believe us?
Hit the jump to lend your ears to some of the best songs to release over the last seven days. Consider this a gift from us to you.

Vic Mensa ft. Rockie Fresh – “Time Is Money” (Prod. By Boi-1da & The Maven Boys)
The SAVEMONEY MC is certainly one of the better up and comers. We suggest that you hop on this gravy trail early.
Curren$y – “Ox”
Spitta is always good for a smooth tune. This is no different.
Evan Holt – “Ready For The Day” (Prod. by Thelonious Martin)
Two young talents — one a rapper and the other’s a producer — deliver this soulful tune. As you can see, we approve.
R. Kelly ft. 2 Chainz – “My Story”
Kells has been killing it since 12 Play. Need we say more?
J Dilla – “Diamonds (The Shining Pt. 1)”
All thanks to the Most High for this completed and mixed version of Dilla Dawg’s classic.
Joell Ortiz – “Same Love (Remix)”
The Slaughterhouse MC speaks on racism in light of the Trayvon Martin case. It’s both relevant and very ill.
SHIRT. – “Oakland Bitch”
This tune is absolutely hilarious.
Rick Ross – “I Wonder Why”
Rozay got introspective on this release, and kicks some quality bars to boot.
Drake ft. 2 Chainz & Big Sean – “All Me”
Drizzy connected with two other worthy rappers on this soon-to-be hit. Yes, we’re calling this one early.
Big Sean – “Fire”
This is our favorite of the bunch, because it’s both dynamic in sound and features potent bars from the G.O.O.D. MC. Sorry Drizzy.
