Photos have already been floating around the Internets, but today Nike has officially unveiled LeBron James’ latest signature sneaker, the LeBron 11. King James’ latest shoe is his lightest so far and once again built to encompass his multifaceted game.

In a men’s size 9, the LeBron 11 weighs in at a svelte 14.5 oz. The upper features Nike Hyperposite technology to keep things light and responsive and also includes Nike Hyperfuse construction and Flywire tech to incorporate natural motion. The shoe also rides low to the ground but also includes full length Lunarlon and a Nike Zoom unit for cushioning and responsiveness.

The number 11 is also flipped into the design based on the concept of “duality.” Says Nike:

The duality of the number 11 is the main graphic design inspiration for the LEBRON 11 – it looks identical upside down as it does right side up. The graphic design on the LEBRON 11 also plays into the duality of the shoe and features ambigrams throughout including:

  • The graphic on the inner tongue of the shoe spells out the number six while further highlighting the Roman numeral XI.

  • The sock liner graphic reads “LeBron” but when flipped upside down reads “James”.

  • A closer look at the Swoosh on the shoe reveals a pattern inspired by modern chain mail in which the initials “LJ” make up the links and repeat at graduating weights.

Two colorways will be available initially: the King’s Pride, which is inspired by the lion, will be available on Oct. 12 globally. The Terracotta Warrior colorway will be available on Oct. 1 in China first before releasing to the rest of the globe on Nov. 27.
