This weekend, fans celebrated the 20th year anniversary of the Wu-Tang Clan‘s debut album, Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers). However, there seems to be a riff in the crew as RZA and Raekwon aired disagreements over what’s holding up the release of their final studio album, A Better Tomorrow.

RZA revealed in an interview conducted by Grantland last Friday (Nov. 8) that some of the Clan aren’t on board with finalizing the record, namely Raekwon. Saying that the prolific rapper “hasn’t shown up at all,” RZA also wanted to see more from Ghostface and GZA while praising Method Man, U-God and Masta Killa’s efforts.

Raekwon wasn’t too fond of the dig apparently, reacting via Twitter the next day (Nov. 9). “Yea i just read that rza article? Sh-t is funny to me,” tweeted the Chef. “I love u rza, u know what it really is,” he added immediately after.

A quick scan of RZA’s timeline doesn’t show any further comments, but instead a lot of love for the crew. It doesn’t seem to be a beef of any sort between the rap titans, and fans can only hope this will give be an incentive for the Shaolin Swordsmen to reunite.
