The tandem, comprised of Sir Michael Rocks and Chuck Inglish, had a steady buzz when they impacted Hip-Hop around 2008. After some years of consistent output, the wordsmiths went on separate paths, but today, they reunite under their group moniker on a pair of tunes called “Computer School” and “Chop,” featuring HBK Gang, respectively.
Both record hone in on the sound that made fans fall in love with cuts like “Black Mags” and “Delivery Man.” But that’s not all. As per tweets from Chuck Inglish, The Cool Kids have a full project on the way.
“And me and @SirMichaelRocks are about take all our shit back real quick,” read a message Inglish wrong Jan. 6. He continued, “@thecoolkids – (Shark Week) coming soon.” Lookout for that release some time this year. Stream “Computer School” below, and find “Chop” on the following page.
