The St. Louis authorities appear to be focusing their energy in an awful lot of areas outside of the Mike Brown shooting instead of the actual case itself.

Next up on the investigation radar is Mike Brown’s stepfather Louis Head, over his passionate reaction immediately following the announcement that Darren Wilson would not be the charged in the killing of the unarmed teen.

CNN cameras immediately cut to the Brown family which showed the teen’s mother Lesley McSpadden crying and yelling and Head shouting “burn this bitch down” to the restless crowd.

Head reached out to NBC via a statement and told the press that his emotions “got the best of me.”

“I was so angry and full of raw emotions, as so many others were, and granted, I screamed out words that I shouldn’t have screamed in the heat of the moment,” it partially read. He also apologized to citizens “who read my pain and anger as a true desire for what I want for our community. It wasn’t.”

The Brown family attorney Benjamin Crump cites Head’s reaction as “raw emotion,” but “completely inappropriate.” There has yet to be a timetable revealed when the investigation will be complete or what is exactly being probed for.

Head went on to say that the his Ferguson community needs to begin the rebuilding process right away.
