UPDATE: There appears to be a change of plans, as the MyMixtapez tweet indicating the Free Weezy Album will release today was deleted. Mack Maine, the president of Cash Money Records, also just sonned the movement.

This is too much. After a week full of abrupt releases from Kanye West, Drake and Kendrick Lamar, rap fans will have to gear up for Lil Wayne’s Free Weezy Album later today.

It’s set to drop via the MyMixtapez app, which premiered Wayne’s last tape Sorry 4 The Wait 2 and is available on Google Play and iTunes.

The New Orleans rapper announced the project a few weeks back, as he continues to experience strife with Cash Money Records. “Free album. Free Weezy season. The Free Weezy Album. #FWA,” he tweeted.

Then came today’s Twitter message: “Hit sent. #FWA.”

The free LP will arrive just hours after Drake delivered If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late.
