Charlo Greene, the pro-marijuana former KTVA television reporter who infamously quit on-air last year with the parting words ‘F**k it, I quit’ is in potential hot water. Authorities in Alaska raided Greene’s cannabis club over the weekend on suspicion that illegal activity is happening on the grounds of the establishment.

The Anchorage Police Department took aim at investigating the Alaska Cannabis Club for what they’re calling criminal activity. Greene, real name Charlene Egbe, launched the club last year after leaving KTVA as a place for marijuana users to share their wares. KTVA, Greene’s former employers, reported on the Friday (Mar. 20) raid of the club and what police uncovered in the wake.

More from KTVA:

Clubhouse owner Charlene Egbe, also known as Charlo Greene, and at least six others looked on as authorities served a search warrant and combed through the Alaska Cannabis Club on Gambell Street Friday afternoon. The warrant also includes a Dodge Dakota and Jeep Liberty, both of which were impounded by APD.

The warrant, which names Egbe and Peter Lomonaco, says that at the clubhouse and in the two vehicles “there is now being concealed property, namely: Marijuana, in cultivation or harvested, resins, oils, hashish or other THC derivatives, concentrates, edibles and equipment used in the extraction of THC.”

The warrant also includes “items relating to illegal transactions” — such as computer records and bank statements — forfeitable firearms, and money “used in or intended for use in or derived from trafficking in controlled substances.”

“I saw them uproot a couple of marijuana plants. They took some bongs and pipes and phones and computers and that’s pretty much it,” Egbe said on scene as bags of items were carried out by police.

Greene told KTVA that the club is akin to a  dispensary and that she doesn’t allow for the sale of recreational marijuana. While it is legal to smoke and own marijuana in Alaska, it is still illegal to sell it publicly. Greene says her clubhouse was a place fellow users could share their leaf.

The APD says it launched the raid on a tip that illegal sales of the plant and edible derivatives were being sold there. No arrests were made on site.
