Janelle Monae hit NYCs Best Buy Theater last night (March 26) for a special concert for Samsung users. Attendees got their tickets by bringing their phones to the Samsung store in Soho, but Monae put on a show worthy of whatever price she could have felt like charging.

Monae ran through favorited like “Electric Lady” and “Tight Rope” and also threw in homages to James Brown and the Jackson 5. Before she hit the stage, the crowd got warmed up by DJ Brendan Fallis.

If you missed the show, the concert will be available via Samsung’s Milk Video and the Samsung Owner’s Hub. The show was also filmed for Milk VR, which provides “360-degree immersive videos” to anybody with one those Gear VR virtual-reality headsets.

Samsung’s new phone, the Galaxy S 6 and Galaxy S 6 Edge, will be in stores April 10 but pre-orders are already underway.

Monae’s new album should be dropping sooner than later. Check out photos from Monae’s performance on the following pages.
