Well, you can’t say Raven-Symone isn’t self-aware. The new The View host and impeccable troll admits that Black Twitter isn’t too fond of her divisive opinions and that Oprah called it.

Reports US Weekly:

When Raven-Symone sat down with Oprah Winfrey in 2014 for OWN’s Where Are They Now? series, she shocked many fans by making some bold comments about race and ethnicity.

“I’m an American, I’m not an African-American,” Symone, 29, firmly said at the time.

“Oh girl, you’re going to set Twitter on fire,” a shocked Winfrey replied.

When The View’s new co-host sat down with Us Weekly to dish on 25 Things we don’t know about her, she also reflected on that moment.

“She told me that black Twitter’s going to hate me forever. She was right,” Symone said, laughing. “I love you, Oprah. She’s like everybody’s rich aunt. She’s really close to you, but she’ll never give you any of her money.

Oprah Winfrey clearly knows what she’s talking about.

Now, let’s all just stop asking for Raven-Symone’s opinion, on anything.
