D’Angelo Russell has apologized for record a video of Nick Young that made it way onto the Internets where he seems to admit to cheating on his fiancee, Iggy Azalea. After it was confirmed that it was the NBA rookie who recorded the video, social media has been on fire

Russell admitted he dropped the ball and is “sick” over the situation.

Reports ESPN:

Addressing the media for the first time on Wednesday, Russell said he’s “sick” over the situation.

“I feel as sick as possible,” Russell said in a news conference before the team’s home game against the Heat. “Been asked 110 times and my answer and feeling stay same.”

Russell added that he regrets the whole situation and the he wishes he “could make things better right away but I can’t.”

The video, which is believed to have come to light last week via the Twitter account of a celebrity gossip site, shows Russell filming Young while asking questions about Young being with other women. Young and Australian rapper Iggy Azalea announced their engagement in June.

Reportedly, Nick Young’s relationship with Iggy Azalea is on the rocks (cheating does tend to be a deal breaker).

Of course, it’s not like Russell made Swaggy P step out on his fiancee, allegedly, but it’s the principal.

Russell says he has no idea how the video made it out into the world. Young gave the media a short quote and took no questions.

“I think it’s best that me and D’Angelo handle the situation we have in a private manner outside the media,” Young said per ESPN. “I think it’s something we really do need to sit down and talk about. That’s about it. What happened is what happened. We’ve got to work on it.”

Keep it in house, fellas.
