After causing chaos in the streets of New York City last night, Mayor Bill de Blasio is looking for Kanye West, and Kim Kardashian. It doesn’t look like Yeezy is in trouble, though.
In a message posted on the mayor’s official Twitter account, it seems that he wants to link with West to organize a block party that will serve as a benefit.
“.@kanyewest @kimkardashian Great block parties are planned. @Chirlane & I can throw one w/ you to benefit NYC kids,” read the caption of a pic of de Blasio on a phone. The photo also has a caption that reads “Does someone have Kanye’s number?”
Let’s make this happen, for Hip-Hop.
Note: There surely will be a backlash from nitwits saying “Hey, Hip-Hop is violent, how can the Mayor condone this after the shooting at Irving Plaza,” etc.
Pay those haters no mind.
