Troy Ave is a free man after coming up with a $500k bond. However, the stipulations keep him from leaving New York City and bans him from all performance venues.

NY Daily News reports that the bond was secured by putting up his mother’s Brooklyn home. Ave had been held without bail since he had been charged with attempted murder, weapons possession and other charges after a fatal shooting at T.I. concert inside Irving Plaza on May 25.

The shooting left his friend and bodyguard Ronald McPhatter dead. Ave has denied that he was responsible for his death and has even rapped that he took the gun from the shooter and fired back in self-defense.

As a part of the bond agreement, Ave must wear an ankle monitor and is not allowed to leave New York City. He is also banned from entering any performance venues including concert halls, bars and arenas.

Ave is still considered a suspect in the shooting.
