The Game has been using his voice in “positive” ways over the last two weeks in the wake of the two high-profile police shootings after the 4th of July holiday.

After the killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile at the hands of police officers and the reported retaliation with the Dallas sniper cop shootings, The Game has been on his peace grind.

First he linked up with Snoop Dogg to create the H.U.N.T. initiative to unite Crips, Bloods and Mexicans and meet with the LAPD. Then he created a GoFundMe page to help raise $50,000 for a “good cop” in Little Rock, Ark.

Now he is using his voice to write poems, hoping to open up the minds of some of his listeners.

In an interview with Los Angeles’ Power 106 FM radio show The Cruz Show, Game shared a poem asking Black men to “put the blunt down” and become better fathers than the ones that left them fatherless or misguided.
