We’re going to go ahead and say Lil Wayne should never be you first choice if you want to discuss race relation in the United States. According to Tunechi, he has never experienced racism.

Yes, the man born Dwayne Michael Carter Jr. in New Orleans asserts that he’s never experienced the phenomenon.

Weezy made the claim on his buddy Skip Bayless’ new FS1 show Undisputed, where he also mentioned he plans to never work with his daddy, Bryan “Baby/Birdman” Williams, ever again.

“Skip, they wouldn’t want to ask me that,” said Wayne when asked “where are we” as far as race relations, perhaps knowing the landmine he was stepping on.

He continued, “They wouldn’t want my answer to represent it because God knows I have been nothing but blessed. My whole path. These 33 years have been nothing but a blessing  I have never…and never is a strong word, [I have] never dealt with racism and I’m glad I didn’t have to. I don’t know if it’s because of my blessings, but it is my reality. So I would have to say not only did I thought it was over but I still believe it’s over. But obviously, it isn’t.”

Even Skip was looking at Weezy like he was nuts, double checking if he’d “never experienced any offensive behavior from any other color?” to which Weezy replied “No sir.”

Shannon Sharpe helped Weezy clean up his case, noting that he was aware of Alton Sterling or officers killing Black people during Hurricane Katrina.

Weezy contends his view are his reality (which must include never being on social media). We’re going to go ahead and say it’s not rooted in actual reality, too.

We sincerely hope Lil Wayne continues to duck ever dealing with racism. But good luck with that. Internet slander is already on deck.
