Maybach Music Group foot soldier Gunplay is already dealing with legal troubles due to gun violence, so it should be expected that the Def Jam artist would choose his words carefully at all times. However, Mr. 601 & Snort took to Twitter this morning to chime in on the Newtown tragedy, saying the events at Sandy Hook elementary is some type of government like some have claimed with the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks of 2001.

Don Logan minced no words via the fast moving social network, and save for some quickly saved screen shots, nothing else remains on his timeline regarding the tragedy.

“Government killed dem kids to take our guns away. Another 9/11,” tweeted Gunplay. He later added, “Don’t get it twisted… “Yall are sheeple 4 thinking da government aint gotta hand in every crisis since the great depression.”

The Medellin rapper appears to be a student of Alex Jones, the controversial conspiracy theorist and media figure who has blamed Obama and the federal government in being responsible for the 9/11 attacks, the Timothy McVeigh Oklahoma City bombing, and even the Sandy Hook shooting.

A quick look at Gunplay’s timeline reveals posted links to Alex Jones’ video clips where the host talks about Newtown and levies heavy criticism against President Barack Obama. Gunplay has been mum since, although it was clear his words raised the ire of critics to which he responded, “Twitter gives nobody N***as n Beyotches a voice. Which nobody hears! Lmao!! My real fans, salute to you!!”

Bored rappers, leave social media to your press team. Check out the photos of the deleted tweets courtesy of MissInfo after the jump.
