Good J.R.: J.R. Smith Earns MVP of McDonalds All-American Game
In a McDonald’s All-Ameircan game that included the likes of Dwight Howard, Josh Smith, Rajon Rondo, and Al Jefferson, it was J.R. Smith who took home the game’s Most Valuable Player honors. The stacked class, most of which were heading straight to the NBA, made for a coming out party for Smith. He would go on to spurn his commitment to the University of North Carolina and jump straight to the NBA as well.
