Rick Ross continues to broaden his reach in 2013 as he makes his acting debut on the Starz original series, Magic City.

The show, which takes place in Ross‘ hometown of Miami,  tells the story of Ike Evans, the owner of Miami’s most glamorous hotel, the Miramar Playa. Evans makes a deal with the Miami Mafia in order to keep things running in his hotel and ends up in many dilemmas.

Rozay is featured in the trailer for the second season of this show, where he delivers the line “God is good, until he ain’t.” Sounds almost identical to something that the rapper would say in his album, God Forgives, I Don’t.

The show is based in the late 1950s and in this trailer, also features the Maybach Music Group boss firing off a shotgun at the very end. The rapper predictably plays a character named, wait for it, “The Bolita Boss.” Fantastic.

Magic City is set to return to air on the Starz network this spring. To check out the full trailer for the second season of the series, hit the jump and check it all out. Also, don’t forget to check in later on as Rick Ross will announce the name of his new album.
